At the beginning of the year I was frustrated because it was freezing outside and because I don’t have much time to work out. (I pretty much only like to exercise outside and I’m not a big fan of the gym). I was working full-time, getting a masters degree and loving on my kiddos. I used to be all or nothing when it came to working out. I wanted an hour or an hour and a half to work out or nothing at all. But in my season of life, that just wasn’t doable. So I made the decision to get outside and walk 20 minutes each day. NO MATTER WHAT. There are days I walked more than that, but I always did at least 20. I added it up today and realized that I have walked AT LEAST 5,220 minutes which is something like 87 hours, since January!!! What if I had kept that all or nothing mentality?! I’d have missed 87 hours of nature, me time and exercise!! Just do what you can, with what you have, where you are and WATCH IT ADD UP! @freelifehealth

There aren’t many things better than some avocado+kombucha+God’s word+some sunshine ☀️ I once looked up the nutrition facts of spinach and avocados (along with some other veggies) and realized that spinach has less than one gram of fiber per serving and an avocado has over 10 grams!!! Ever since I have been even more obsessed with avocados than I ever thought possible. And those healthy fats don’t hurt either 😉 I’m all about “undieting“ and intuitive eating, which means I just focus on fueling my body the best way I know how (I’m CONSTANTLY learning) without leaving any one food group out. It’s all about balance for me, and I love sharing that with everyone I meet ❤️❤️❤️@freelifehealth

Health and fitness doesn’t have to look a certain way. My mom texted me earlier in the week (she picks up my boys from school) and said I could go on a walk if I wanted to before I came to get them. I didn’t have any workout clothes with me and I was wearing uncomfortable sandals, but the opportunity presented itself and so I took it! I parked my car in downtown Conway and listened to a podcast while I got in 25 minutes of walking. So many times, women feel like they need a gym membership and the perfect workout clothes. All you really need is the drive to make it happen, even in the margins of life ✨@FreelifeHealth

It isn’t easy by any means to find time to work out with a family and a full-time job. I’m actually an early morning person, but that’s when I want to get ready, pack lunches, iron clothes, pick up a little, basically ALL the things before the days starts. So I have to squeeze in exercise in the most random times, like when the boys play a quick round of the video game with the hubby when he gets home from work. Sometimes I go on a couple short walks and do some lunges down the driveway and call it a day. But I always do SOMETHING. I wish I could do more. I have grown to looooove working out and would love to do more than I do BUT I do what I can and I’m thankful for that. Having a Fitbit has helped with that tremendously. Some days the most I can do is just hit those 10,000 steps, but add to that a diet CHOCK FULL of veggies, and a freedom mindset about food and exercise and it is just right for now! My passion is seeing people find their passion for health and fitness, whatever that may look like for them, because honestly?? It’s different for every single person ❤️@freelifehealth

I want you to know that no matter where you are in life, you can still be healthy, still work out, still eat right. I promise!! I have struggled with a health issue regarding my heart for the last year or so, yet I’ve figured out what health looks like for me in this season. I work full-time and have two busy boys, yet I’ve figured out what health looks like for me in this season. Whether it be health issues or busyness or lack of motivation, you have to figure out what health looks like for YOU in this SEASON. It’s going to be different in every season for every one. The way I work out now is nothing like how I worked out when I was in college. But honestly, I’m thankful! I’m thankful I’ve grown and evolved and changed. I love me in this season and I want you to love you in your current season too ❤️ Check out @freelifehealth for more of my story!!
