Berkeley's first time seeing the ocean (gulf, whatever). He loved it 100 times more than we ever thought he would. Sam was just happy to be alive. He didn't seem to care that we were at his mom's favorite place in the world. Driving home and already planning next year's trip!! I'm one of those people that would move to the beach if my husband would agree to it.

It was a beautiful Father's Day. The boys cuddled up to Derek many times yesterday while watching the World Cup, the u.s. Open, and the nba championship. He takes care of them so very well. I never have to so a bath time alone, he's right there to help/entertain. All year long he left for work 20 minutes early to take the boys to school so I could teach. He does the dishes if he has some free time at home. He picks up the play room at night when he knows I'm exhausted. He doesn't mind that we eat frozen pizza for dinner often. He spends his whole weekend doing yard work and making our home look beautiful. He gets Berkeley to sleep every single night. He enjoys taking numerous family walks per night. I really could go on and on. Just know, babe, that you are loved and appreciated.
